Tranters Creek

CAMP STORE

The camp store and office are located on the left as soon as you come into the resort. You will find our friendly staff there to answer any questions you might have, as well as a store stocked full of camping accessories and souvenirs.

GAME ROOM

The game room is located in the camp store. There are assorted arcade games, pool table, an air hockey table, and a big screen TV. Prices for the games run between $0.25 and $1.00.

PLAYGROUND

The camp playground is another area our young campers enjoy. It’s conveniently located near in our large natural field area.

POOL

Our large pool is available to our campers from mid-May to mid-September and is open from 10am until dusk.

COVERED PAVILION

Our large covered pavilion is located near the pool where campers can sit and listen or dance to live bands, play bingo on Friday nights or participate in pot-luck dinners.

BOAT RAMP

Our campground has a boat ramp for easy access to the water and great fishing.

FAQ

1. Are spots with shade available?
We have a very limited amount of spots that offer shade.

2. Do you have WiFi and/or cable?
WiFi is available at the Office/Store and on our pull through sites only.

3. Are there bathhouses and a pool?
There is a bathhouse adjacent to our pool. The bathhouses have restrooms and showers for our guests and visitors.

4. Do you have 50 amp services available?
All our RV sites are full hook-ups with 20/30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer.

5. Are there activities and is fishing allowed?
We have activities throughout the year for our residents, visitors, and guests. Please check the website calendar for your dates of stay to see what we have planned. Also, please keep in mind that some activities are weather related and we reserve the right to alter, cancel, or add activities at any time during the year. We also have two piers for you to enjoy fishing. However, please keep in mind that you must have a NC Fishing license and we do not sell bait at the campground.

6. Do you have a boat ramp?
A boat ramp is located in the campground for our residents, and guests.

7. How close are you to ECU
We are approximately 30 minutes from ECU.

8. How close are you to the ocean/beach?
The closest beach to Tranter’s Creek Resort & Campground is Atlantic Beach at approximately 61 miles (1 1⁄2 hours).

9. Are you pet friendly?
We love your pets here at Tranter’s Creek. We ask that you keep them on a leash and please make sure to clean up behind them when they use the great outdoors!

10. Are you open year round?
We are open year round! Come join us!
